Product Overview
JX-550 polyvinyl chloride (PVC) waterproofing membrane is a high-molecular waterproofing material with excellent performance. It is made of polyvinyl chloride resin as the main raw material, with various special additives and anti-aging components added, and is produced using advanced equipment and advanced technology. The product has the characteristics of high tensile strength, high elongation, low shrinkage, good low-temperature flexibility, and long service life.
Products are divided into Types according to their uses
Type P (reinforced type), a PVC waterproofing membrane reinforced with polyester or glass fiber mesh cloth in the middle of the membrane, is suitable for mechanically fixed single-layer roof waterproofing system.
Type L (backing type), a PVC waterproofing membrane with fabrics such as polyester nonwoven fabrics compounded on the lower surface of the membrane, is suitable for full-adhesion waterproofing systems on concrete bases.
Type H (homogeneous type), a PVC waterproof membrane that does not use internal reinforcement materials or backing composite materials and is mostly used as flashing materials.
Features
1. Long service life and aging resistance. Roofing materials can be used for more than 30 years and underground for up to 50 years.
2. High tensile strength, high elongation, and small dimensional change after heat treatment.
3. Good low-temperature flexibility and good adaptability to environmental temperature differences.
4. It has good resistance to root penetration and perforation, and can be made into a green roof.
5. Easy to construct, weld, firm, reliable, environmentally friendly and pollution-free.
6. Strong resistance to chemical corrosion, suitable for special occasions.
7. It has good plasticity, and the processing of fine corners is convenient and quick.
8. Easy maintenance and low cost.

a Static load resistance is only required for rolls used for pressed roofs. b The artificial climate accelerated aging time for products used in single-layer roll roofs is 2500h. c Rolls not used for external use are not required to measure artificial climate accelerated aging. |
Construction method
Hot-gas welding or mechanically fastened.
Application
Mainly used for metal roofs, roofs with planting requirements and basement roofs etc.
Notes
1 The welding seams must be clean and free of dust, dirt, etc. If necessary, solvent scrubbing is required, otherwise it will affect the bonding.
2 The adhesive should be applied evenly without any exposed bottom or accumulation.
3 Construction is strictly prohibited on rainy or snowy days, and construction is not allowed when wind speed is level 5 or above.
4 Construction parameter selection—welding temperature and speed matching.
5 Node processing - pipe root, rain outlet, and corners.
Storage & Transportation
The coils are packed with hard core curlers and wrapped with plastic bags or woven bags.
1 During storage and transportation, products of different types and specifications should be stacked separately to avoid sun and rain, and pay attention to ventilation. The storage temperature should not be higher than 45℃. The stacking height of flat storage should not exceed five layers. It is prohibited to contact with acids, alkalis, oils and organic solvents.
2 Prevent tilting or horizontal pressure during transportation, and cover with felt cloth if necessary.
3 Under normal storage conditions, the storage period is one year from the date of production.
